In 2011, Fernando-Rojas Vizcaya DDS, MS, noticed that he needed to use high quality realistic anatomical models for his own training courses. Since he did not find what he was looking for, he resolved to build his own models by making the most of his knowledge, inasmuch as he is a prosthodontist and also an oral surgeon. Several universities turned their attention towards BoneModels in order to improve the educational experience. And this is how we realized that we can be helpful to you.

Dr. Fernando Rojas-Vizcaya is the BoneModels Chief Executive Officer and this company is located in Castellón de la Plana, Spain. The Mission of this company is improve the quality of training, research and knowledge in the dental sector.

BoneModels was born in 2011 as a result of a need for getting maxillary and mandibular models enough real, which pretend the mouth of a patient, to be used in the Mediterranean Prosthodontics Institute and the doctors who attend these course could practice different techniques; as well as in the international courses taught by Dr. Rojas-Vizcaya.
About Dr. Fernando Rojas-Vizcaya DDS, MS
Our CEO Dr. Rojas-Vizcaya is Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC. He is the Founder and Director of the Mediterranean Prosthodontic Institute, BoneModels and DentalIdea, and maintains a private practice limited to dental implant surgery and prosthodontics in Castellon, Spain. He is the Director of the Charter Chapter of the Academy of Osseointegration in Spain.
He is an international lecturer and writes academic articles which are published in indexed scientific Journals.
Dr. Rojas-Vizcaya did a postgraduate degree in Prosthodontics along with master’s degree in Prosthodontics at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, United States. In addition to a Post-Doctoral scholarship in research about implantology at the same University.
He is PhD in Oral surgery and medicine orofacial and held two University specialties, Oral Medicine and Osseointegrated implants, at the Complutense University in Madrid, Spain.
He received his Certificate training in Oral Surgery at Gregorio Marañón Hospital in Madrid, Spain.
He is graduate in dentistry at Barcelona University.
He is graduate in dentistry from the Faculty of Dentistry at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia.
